Our Story

I began eating a gluten-free diet in 2013 as an experiment and experienced decreased headaches, aches and pains, and IBS symptoms. However, as good as I felt, sometimes I found it difficult to get enough vitamins & minerals in my diet as well as find GF substitutes for my favorite foods (hello donuts & pizza!). I also felt like an outcast sometimes in social situations when I didn't eat what everyone else was eating. Since then, I became a Registered Dietitian and made it my mission to become an expert on food substitutions to help others navigating the nutritional, emotional, and social aspects of dietary restrictions.

In 2021, I started working with pregnant women, new parents, infants and children on basic nutrition. In 2022, I became a Certified Lactation Consultant and now have the ability to work through the concerns parents have while breastfeeding.

As an RD, I've enjoyed teaching cooking classes for up-and-coming dietitians with accommodations for dietary restrictions as the primary focus. I've also found reward in counseling clients with alternative eating patterns on getting sufficient macro- and micro-nutrients into their diets. For those caretakers or event organizers who struggle to accommodate the "gluten-free, vegan, peanut allergy" person, I've coached you, too.

I encourage you to make an appointment if you have any of the dietary restrictions to the left or may need to implement one or accommodate someone else's soon.
